Riding the Diligence
2008-2009

The Wilmington Council is fortunate to have the opportunity to ride on board USCGC Diligence between Southport and downtown Wilmington or the reverse.  When circumstances permit, the Diligence commanding officer permits Navy Leaguers to make the approximately 25 mile trip between Wilmington and Southport.  A number of our members have taken advantage of this rare opportunity to spend time on board and to meet and observe the crew at their sea detail stations.  For details, contact John Stewart.
